My horchata arrived and it was huge and delicious! So huge I took half with me when I left...I love horchata! My meal was fantastic...tortilla soup and green chili chicken...packed with chicken...enchilada. Friendly staff, most speak Spanish as was the menu... very comfortable place! Loved it! The meal was huge, but I managed and left with my drink!

Warm inviting restaurant, with friendly service! Chips and salsa are both fresh, and despite the small serving they will give you as much as you want. My wife and I ordered the special of the day. Enchiladas Montadas topped with one egg,, you can order an extra egg if you want. The plate also came with beans, a small salad, and a small bowl of Menudo with bread. The Menudo is fantastic! Probably the best in El Paso, if you don't believe me come and try it for yourself. I will be back for sure

Great food. But even better is the fast and kind service, offered with a smile. I only wish they didn't pack my soup in a coffee cup. Made a proper mess in my friend's car. An appropriate container with a tight lid would be appreciated. But no worries. Great restaurant nonetheless!

Homemade style cooking in a family warming environment. This place is a knock out to so call "tradition" Mexican food. Service and food is phenomenal. My fajitas, beans and tortillas were great. Even the complimentary chips and salsa were delicious. My wife and family will be back when we are in El Paso.

I had the breakfast special with eggs, ham, potatoes and beans. The food was so good and my entire meal with coffee was only $7. This will definitely be my breakfast spot when I come to town!

I eat here at least once a week. I am NEVER disappointed! Speaking Spanish is helpful some days as not all of the waitresses speak English. You can see right into the kitchen and it's always spotless. The decor is, of course, colorfully Mexican with vibrant colors throughout. Nothing fancy. The menu offers a plethora of authentic north Mexico meals. Daily specials are written on a whiteboard and usually reflect a $0.50 discount off a regular menu item. The soups/caldos, IMHO, are the best. You can enjoy a cup with your meal or just order a bowl and make that your meal. I'm partial to the enchiladas with fried eggs atop. "Montadas." I've taken as many as 12 people there for breakfast for under $50.00. Prices are very reasonable. Most entrées include a choice of soup, a modest dessert and plentiful nachos and salsas (mild and spicy). They close at 4 pm. No dinner service. Breakfast and lunch only. When I have out of town guests, I make it a point to take them there for delicious, real-deal, Mexican fare. Oh yeah. Great aguas frescas in many different flavors. The limonada is my favorite! It's getting well known and more popular. Lately I've struggled to find a parking place and I've had to wait a few times to be seated. Still worth the "struggle."
